The Natural Sources of Vitamins

Vitamins are needed for our body in order to help it develop, grow, and maintain health. These vitamins are vitamin A, B, C, D, E, and K. Each vitamin have different sources. They can be obtained from fruits, vegetables, meat or dairies.



1. Vitamin A
Sources of vitamin A include of food such as sweet potatoes, carrots, pumpkins, squash, spinach, mangoes, beef liver, eggs, shrimp, fish, milk. 


2. Vitamin B
The main sources of vitamin B are whole grains, potatoes, bananas, lentils, chili peppers, beans, yeast, avocado, and molasses.


3.Vitamin C
Mostly, vitamin c comes from fruit and vegetables such as oranges, guava kiwi, potatoes, broccoli, bell peppers, spinach, strawberries, and etc.


4. Vitamin D
Vitamin D can be found in Fortified milk or margarine, fortified cereals, fatty fish. Other than that, vitamin D can be easily obtained from a direct contact of sunlight.


5. Vitamin E
Vitamin E can be found in a wide variety of foods such as vegetable oil (wheat germ, sunflower, safflower, corn, and soybean oils), almond, spinach, and broccoli.


6. Vitamin K
The sources of Vitamin K are Cabbage, eggs, spinach, milk, sprouts, liver, kale, collards, broccoli, and other green vegetables.
